Big Fat Dun Observation (NO.38)
----------------------
1️⃣【RGB】This month should be the launch of the RGB v0.12 mainnet, hoping this prophecy can be validated.
2️⃣【Quantum Attack】I saw discussions about BTC's resistance to quantum attacks again, and I went through it. Although everyone agrees that such things will happen in the future, the timing of the risk assessment varies. Twenty years might be a relatively moderate number; it doesn't seem long, but considering BTC has only been around for 16 years, that time doesn't seem short either.
3️⃣【USDT】Tether has a lot of diverse layouts. Regarding the USDT chain, one is stable, and the other is plasma: the former is a completely native USDT chain, focusing on low fees, while the latter is a sidechain based on BTC that is gas-free, etc.; whether this will impact TRON, I think there will be short-term effects, but long-term it depends on whether Tether's two chains can operate legally, as we all know TRON's main business is in the "gray market."
4️⃣【FHE】I had previously done some research on fully homomorphic encryption, which is quite interesting. Recently, I saw that many people have started mentioning the @zama_fhe project. I had followed this project early on when they were researching FHE, which basically gathered most of the technical researchers and developers in the FHE field. However, at that time, I felt that FHE was still quite far from reality, so I didn't follow up later. I'm planning to pick it up again and see the progress.
5️⃣【BTC Ancient Addresses】The revival of ancient addresses seems to have become a "standard program." Regardless of whether these early addresses have long been coordinated or have been "gathered" through various means like OTC, even if they want to sell, it seems that in the short term it will affect BTC's price, but in the long term, isn't that a good thing? Otherwise, should we wait for BTC to rise higher to make these impacts even greater? Isn't it said that for a rise, a good washout is needed?
6️⃣【Airdrop】Farming cows and then pulling back, but I sensed this early on, so I only did a little, and my psychological expectations were also in place, thankfully; I am currently participating in about 7 projects for airdrops, maintaining my position in this field.
7️⃣【Criticism】I found that sometimes I am a bit harsh on projects in crypto. Some projects are doing well with minor innovations, but I always expect them to solve problems in the field or industry and have revolutionary innovations, which is unrealistic. I should look at the positives more.
