News and Market Updates
Just got word that a US judge has denied Ripple's request to reduce a $125M penalty, ruling they must still comply with federal securities laws. Not good for Ripple, and potentially a bad omen for other crypto companies navigating SEC regulations.
Current $XRP price is $2.12, down 3.09% in the last 24 hours. Market cap is still sitting at $125B. Volume changes are a mixed bag - down 1.96% in the last 24 hours, but up 66.43% in the last 4 hours.
I'm keeping a close eye on this one, but for now, I'm bearish on Ripple. The SEC's got them in their sights, and it's hard to see a way out of this penalty.
