The point I’ve not seen mentioned is that @weremeow’s personal allocation is effectively zero after the 2030 lock-in vote. “Sir he has 500m tokens”. And he can’t ever sell even a portion of it bc it would literally end Jupiter. He can only give it to others to grow Jupiter.
🚨 I'm seriously pissed. The amount of FUD I see targeting @JupiterExchange is absolutely wild. People can't put 2 and 2 together and blame others for it. Let me break it down: Every day, I see aggressive posts aimed at one of the best products in crypto — and they come from people who do nothing, yet somehow feel entitled to complain. Let’s get this straight: Jupiter is an idea. A movement. They had NO investors. NO rich VC uncles. Just @weremeow and the team building from scratch, with nothing but vision. They gave 40% of the supply to the community. That’s not marketing fluff — that’s real. ASR rewards every 3 months Constant airdrops for active users 10% of tokenomics redistributed to users every Jupuary Compare that to @Aptos, who promised 51% to the community on paper… and then vanished. Crickets. Haters love to bash $JUP because “price go down.” But let’s be honest: you are the ones dumping. The team doesn’t hold tokens. They GIVE them to the community. It's your paper hands and greed pushing the price down - not the team. And now some people are crying because the team asked via vote to allocate some tokens to themselves? They don’t have families? They don’t eat or pay rent? They EARNED it. They didn’t stealth-drop themselves like @zksync. They opened it up to a transparent, on-chain vote. That’s how grown-up, real-deal teams do things. @weremeow and the Jupiter team are doing everything they can to support the price and reward holders. Tell me, who else is using 50% of protocol revenue to buy back tokens from the open market? Answer: Almost no one. The irony? Projects like this genuinely love their community. But in tough times, the community forgets that. Don't be that guy. Respect builders. Respect integrity. $JUP is different. Appreciate that - before it’s too late.
