Eigenlayer is driving insane value to the ETH ecosystem and doesn't stop shipping massive innovation.
Quite non-stop.
- invented restaking, so that ETH security can be used far beyond blockchain use cases, literally any web2 use case possible for any VM like verifiable AI agents (next disruptive wave for crypto), zkTLS tech (onboarding tradfi with digital verification), oracles, (BTC-ETH) bridges, coprocessors, TEEs, etc.
- created EigenDA offering long-term 43M+ tps to scale the ETH ecosystem to global adoption (can't have gaming, etc. on blob DA). MegaETH L2 will do 100k tps in the next few months with it (with real-time latency).
- sophisticated token model to not overload the ETH token / don't introduce core protocol risks
- shipped slashing in the last few weeks to enable real economic security to it all (hint: besides ETH, no other L1 has that ;)
- announced EigenCloud last week to enable a much better dev experience by using AWS-style modules
