I often get asked by people how to win consistently in the trenches or how to make it with a small bankroll. There’s lots of answers to these questions but today presented a good example of what I think it’s the best way to make it in the trenches PERIOD. All it takes is PATIENCE(most important), SIZING, FOCUS and KNOWLEDGE. Basically you need to be completely locked in with what’s happening in the space so you are in the loop with new metas / things that are gaining traction(ie. A new launchpad). Then you need to be early to these things and focused on them to find easy asymmetrical bets. Now I’m not talking about the “Oh this might run” plays, I’m talking about the “Oh this is definitely gonna run” plays and you’re one of the first to find it. Being able to spot these might be difficult at first but eventually you should build a pretty good eye for them. The reason patience is the most important thing is because these plays aren’t easy to come by, it could take weeks or even months to spot one but when you do, you need to be quick on your feet and have the balls to size in accordingly. When I found goat I sized in larger than I ever had into a token at $2-$5m mc and held for almost 200x before selling any. It wasn’t until pnut that I sized that big into anything that mc and I also held that for like 50x before selling any. Leading up to pnut there was a 2-3 week period where l didn’t really take any trades(outside of tiny gambles to scratch my gambling itch) but the moment I saw pnut I aped heavy. It was exactly what I was waiting for. A few big wins will account for 90%+ of your profits.
