The report examined 6-months worth of trading data to ask: which solver based DEX offered the best value for end-users? The three DEXes examined were:
- CoW Swap
- 1inch Fusion
- UniswapX
Solver based DEXes out-performed their non solver-based alternatives. âš
"Solvers effectively improved pricing through optimized routing and access to off-chain liquidity for both short-tail (USDC-WETH) and long-tail (PEPE-WETH) assets."
CoW Swap had a more decentralized solver network: đ
- The top solver (on CoW Swap) accounts for 25% of market share, and the next five solvers each hold approximately 10%.
- On 1inchFusion: the top three solvers control 80% of total volume.
Others faired worse.
CoW Swap was better for big traders:
"CoWSwap, among the 3, showed the most significant uptick of execution improvement as trade size goes above 100 ETH."
CoW Swap handled way more volume than the rest.
"CoW Swap has an avg daily trading volume of ~$200m, while 1inchFusion totals around $60m and UniswapX around $30m."
In summary: if you are a whale trading major coin looking for a decentralized solver network with the best returns, CoW Swap is proven to be a better place than the rest.
