Recent progress in Zksync: 1. Full EVM equivalence is achieved. Presumably, zksync introduces an EVM execution mode in the EVM bytecode interpreter, allowing unmodified EVM bytecode to run on the ZK chain. EraVM is still the main execution environment, and the EVM interpreter acts as a translation layer and executes EVM bytecode on EraVM. As a result, Solidity and Vyper contracts can be deployed without recompilation; Compatible with Ethereum standard tools, works with Foundry, hardhat, and Remix without additional plugins or modifications...... It's easier for developers to build on Zksync than before. 2. Propose solx, a new type of Solidity-to-EVN compiler, built on LLVM, which is convenient for Solidity portability, and is also conducive to reducing gas fee consumption, etc., at the same time, it also prepares for the subsequent transformation of Ethereum to RISC-V type VM, and uses the new architecture with as few changes as possible. 3.
