Eth is great, I love infinite programmability, and maybe there wouldn't be so much sell pressure if everybody stopped giving millions of dollars to every team that knows how to copy paste a protocol to cash out.
You can "spend" your eth however you like, but keep in mind that in the majority of cases, 1 ETH spent = 1 ETH sold.
Bitcoin is nice in that it doesn't have this dynamic (outside of minimal ordinal/rune activity).
