Gcookie Gspark!
Did you meet $SPK @sparkdotfi who came to us yesterday?
When I looked at Spark's Twitter this morning, the token I had already staked
I was surprised to see that it was over 10M, so I went and went to it, and it exceeded 20M, wow!
Staking is risky, so let's take a look at why we stake so much??
1⃣ What is SPK Staking?
Users can stake SPK tokens to enhance the security of the Spark network (e.g., bridges, etc.)
Start earning Spark Points and Symbiotic Points rewards instantly by staking.
Now there's a new method, right? It was a moment when I became more curious about the purpose of Spark Point!
2⃣ How to stake
Connect your wallet here and click the Stake button
Enter the amount of SPK to stake and execute the transaction
Start earning rewards immediately after completion!
3⃣ reward
Spark Points and Symbiotic Points are two types of points that are credited immediately after staking.
You can check the status of your rewards in the Spark app.
4⃣ Unstaking & Withdrawals
Click Unstake → specify quantity → register withdrawal queue
Minimum 2 weeks and up to 4 weeks unstaking waiting period
There is a waiting period for Uns, so I think you should choose well and stag!
You can check when withdrawals are available in the UI
Click Finalize and withdraw SPK to your wallet through the transaction
5⃣ Withdrawal Delay Mechanism
Based on Symbiotic's Staking Infrastructure (Epoch)
Each epoch is 14 days, and can only be withdrawn after the end of the current + next epoch
For example, if you unstake on day 7 of Epoch 38, → 7 days remaining in Epoch 38 + 14 full days of Epoch 39 = 21 days
(Actually, I still don't understand it well, but the withdrawal is delayed anyway!)
The good thing is that Spark Points will continue to accumulate while you are waiting for withdrawals
6⃣ Reasons for the delay
Secure your network
Prevent sudden and large withdrawals
Safeguards to secure minimum collateral staking
I'm sure @sparkdotfi's Spark Points are preparing a new reward system!!
Happy SPARK day! Get started! 😍
