In my "What to ape" series, you've probably noticed I frequently mention the Points/Allocation ratio and how cheap/expensive it is.
Here is a good example of how important this metric is.
In the screenshot above, you can see I aped 150K pts to $NYKO and got 160 $VIRTUAL allocation.
Ratio: 937.5 (Expensive)
At 20x profit average, my pure profit is 3,040 $VIRTUAL (160 × 19)
1 point = 3,040/150K = 0.02 $VIRTUAL.
In $AISPACE's case, I aped 84.5K pts for 397.2 allocation.
Ratio: 212 (Cheap)
At 8x average (if you jeet in the first 30 minutes), my pure profit is 2,780 (397.2 × 7)
1 point = 2,780/84.5K = 0.033 $VIRTUAL.
The ratio on $NYKO was 4.4 times more expensive than $AISPACE.
1 point I spent on $AISPACE yielded 60% better than 1 point I spent on $NYKO.
Strategy:
1. Expensive ratio: If you have high conviction to justify that, commit and hold for long term:
- No worry about jeet-jail
- Earn Diamond Hand Bonus pts
- Can have a much better multiple, like $BIOS from @BasisOS (A clear 60x, even after 45% retracement)
If you don't have conviction, then better skip and wait for a better opportunity.
2. Cheap ratio: Most of the time, it's cheap for a reason. So if you committed, be ready to jeet at a favorable price.
If you don't want to get jeet-jail, then better don't commit.
This kind of project usually pumps in the first 10 minutes, then slowly bleeds.
